This digital thermometer is designed for people more than 5 years old. And you can use it to measure temperature of body (3 kinds of backlight indicators) and objects, and it supports recording max 32 groups of data. Depending on various skin types and thickness of objects, there may be difference in temperature. When there is significant difference of temperature among indoor, the infrared thermometer should be placed in that room for 15-20 minutes before using.
